Kayak Rental & Guided Tour with Snorkeling

Discover Funchal's stunning volcanic coastline from the water with a kayak rental or guided tour including snorkeling. No previous experience is needed, all equipment is provided and a safety briefing is included before you set off.

Choose your experience:

Guided Tour with Snorkeling: Paddle alongside a local guide who will lead you along the rocky coastline, through sea caves, and to a sheltered bay where you'll jump in and snorkel above volcanic reefs. A small group experience with full in-water support.

Kayak Rental: Prefer to go at your own pace? Take the kayak out independently within a safe perimeter. Snorkeling gear is included so you can explore the underwater world whenever you like.

Both options start from the Madeira Divepoint, located next to the Pestana Carlton Hotel in Funchal, just minutes from the city centre.

Please note: The kayaks are moored just offshore, so participants must swim a short distance to reach and return from the equipment. You must be comfortable in open water.
